DRIVING DIRECTIONS
The railway station in Paisley is two miles from the airport, t
en minutes by taxi or bus. There are eight trains an hour from
Monday to Saturday, and five trains an hour on Sundays, running
from Paisley to Glasgow Central station. Taxis are available 2
4 hours a day from in front of the main terminal building and s
hould cost £16 each way. Shuttle buses also run directly t
o central Glasgow and take about 20 minutes. Buchanan Street bu
s station is one mile from the hotel, as is St Enoch Centre met
ro and the central train station. Bus services are frequent and
reliable; tickets can be bought on board. After midnight, nigh
t- bus services service the city, leaving from George Square. T
axis are also readily available. Driving directions: From the a
irport, take the M8 to the city centre, exiting at junction 19.
Stay in the left-hand lane and take the first left up Pitt Str
eet. At the next junction, take the first left onto St Vincent
Street. Follow the brown information signs for the Marriott. At
the next junction, turn left alongside the motorway. Turn left
into Argyle Street. The hotel is on the left-hand side.
